After studying microbiology at the University of British Columbia, John went on to graduate as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West in San Jose, California. This was followed by post-graduate studies to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (ACA). He is currently an associate member of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada).

While this has helped him treat many elite athletes, he feels these same principles and techniques can also help everyone else return to full function as soon as possible.

John understands the importance of rehabilitative exercises, as well as both nutrition and modern pain science. He brings these tools to the table when appropriate.

Since 1996 he and his wife, Donna, have been practicing, and raising their two sons, in the Columbia Valley. During this time he has enjoyed all that the valley has to offer, such as mountain biking, trail running, hiking, skiing and mountaineering.

John feels fortunate to call Invermere home and has given back to the community through years of coaching and other volunteer work. He acknowledges & respects the Ktunaxa ɁamakɁis and Secwepemcúl’ecw peoples on whose traditional territory his clinic and home stand.
